These terms (“Terms”) govern your use of Mixle, a free daily word game published by Paper Napkin Projects at mixle.fun (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you don't agree, please don't play Mixle.
Mixle gives you a new word puzzle each day, free to play. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and the puzzle schedule and scoring rules may evolve. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service is not directed to and may not be used by anyone under 13. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher).

Mixle, the Mixle name and logo, the puzzle design, scoring system, source code, and all visual and textual content are owned by Paper Napkin Projects and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We don't claim ownership of word-puzzle gameplay mechanics in general — only of our specific design, code, content, and branding. You may not copy, redistribute, or build a competing product from substantial portions of the Service.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to share screenshots, score summaries, and the challenge links generated by the game in the normal course of playing.
The Service uses third-party providers including Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google Analytics (analytics), and Google AdSense (advertising). Their use of your data is governed by their own policies and your cookie-consent choice, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available, or that any specific word will be accepted or rejected, or that the daily puzzle will be solvable within any particular number of moves.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paper Napkin Projects and its principals, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Paper Napkin Projects and its principals, employees, contractors, and agents for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim — which, because Mixle is free, will ordinarily be zero. Paper Napkin Projects will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Informal resolution first. Before bringing any formal claim, please contact us at hello@mixle.fun and give us 60 days to try to resolve the issue.
Class-action waiver. You and Paper Napkin Projects each agree to bring any dispute against the other only in your or its individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this waiver is held unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, that claim must be brought in court; the remainder of these Terms will continue to apply.
Forum. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Otherwise, disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory local consumer-protection law.
Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following consumer-rights notice: the Service is provided by Paper Napkin Projects. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example, by an in-app notice or banner) before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Paper Napkin Projects regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights under them. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including notices required by law, by in-app messages and banners on mixle.fun.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision.
Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive any discontinuation of the Service — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law and Disputes, and this General section — will survive.
